Aspire People is urgently seeking a Secondary English Teacher to join a high-demand school in Birmingham. As a Secondary English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate students at KS3 and KS4 delivering high-quality lessons in English Language and English Literature. The school is highly committed to raising standards and providing excellent educational opportunities for students, and they need a dynamic teacher to join their dedicated team 5 days a week.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Developing differentiated lesson plans to cater to the varying learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
* Tracking student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to enhance their learning outcomes.
* Preparing students for exams, ensuring they develop strong literacy skills.
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive and focused learning environment.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong desire to complete your induction year.
* A deep passion for English, with the ability to engage and inspire students to excel.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
* A commitment to professional development, with a willingness to learn and grow in your teaching career.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
