English Teacher l Derby City
Aspire are working with a Secondary School in the Derby City area, who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic English Teacher to work on a temporary basis from May half term until Christmas.
Are you passionate about English Language and Literature? Can you engage students and help raise attainment within the subject?
This school has high expectations of all of its pupils, however they are committed in nurturing every student with the skills and enthusiasm for learning that they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach English across Key Stage 3 and 4 in an engaging way. You will be required to have recent experience teaching in a UK classroom. The school will consider both newly qualified and fully qualified teachers; they will also consider primary trained candidates.
To be successful in this English Teacher role you will need to;
*Be experienced teaching English up to GCSE level
*Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
*Be committed to raising attainment
*Have excellent communication skills
