Job descriptionAre you a teacher that specialises in English Literature and/or Language and seeking a new challenge in your teaching career?
I work with many Secondary Schools in the Birmingham area and they are in high demand for English teachers to cover various day to day, long term, short term and permanent positions.
The successful English teacher will essentially have: -
*Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
*Experience of teaching English for KS3 and KS4, A Level English teaching would be desirable
*Have a real passion for English that you can instil into your pupils.
*Be based local to Birmingham
*NQT English teachers are welcome to apply
At the schools your responsibilities will be:
*To teach students English at a KS3, KS4 and A level standard
*To support the other members of staff at the school
*Follow the behavioural policies set by the school
*Assessing, marking and planning lesson for the students
