English Teacher - LeicesterAre you a teacher who specialises in English Language and/or Literature and lives in Leicester or the surrounding areas?
Do you have the passion and dedication to help pupils reach their full potential?
The school I am recruiting for is Leicester based and looking for a passionate, caring teacher to join their friendly team of staff. This school believes strongly in being hard working, creating a vibrant and a safe environment for the pupils to grow and learn and delivering high standard and effective English lessons. The position is full time, teaching KS3 and KS4 pupils and ability to teach KS5 would be beneficial. The position is to cover until Christmas. The school always ask for good teachers to return so this could be a pathway into the school for more regular work in the future.
I have been with Aspire People for the past 3 and a half years creating a great rapport with the school and regularly supply day to day cover, long term and short term staff. I have always received very positive feedback from the Teachers I have placed within the school and they are always happy to return to cover.
As a full time English teacher the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff so the following is expected;
«Teach English to KS3 & KS4 level. Knowledge of A-Level would be beneficial but not essential.
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
«Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & department meetings.
