English Teacher - Secondary School in TelfordStart Date: ASAP
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Salary: £90 - £130 per day (DOE)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and passionate English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Telford. The role is to start as soon as possible, offering full-time work, 5 days a week. Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Develop and implement creative lesson plans that foster student engagement and achievement.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their potential.
Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior effectively.
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and department initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (NQT applications welcome).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
Experience teaching English at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
