Position: Full-Time English TeacherLocation: Derby
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long-Term Placement
Aspire People is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified English Teacher (QTS) for a full-time position at a secondary school in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to join a dynamic team and inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning, delivering, and marking engaging and challenging English lessons in line with the curriculum.
Teaching English to Key Stage 3 & 4 students, ensuring excellent progress and attainment.
Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Implementing effective classroom management strategies to engage students with diverse needs and abilities.
Working collaboratively with the school's leadership team and colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience teaching English in secondary schools up to Key Stage 4.
Ability to manage challenging behavior effectively and foster a supportive classroom environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
This is a long-term placement with an immediate start, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced English teacher to make a real difference in students' education.
