Job Title: Qualified Secondary School English Teacher

Location: Derby, United Kingdom
Start Date: September

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality English lessons to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Develop engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Mark and evaluate students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and school events.
Monitor and report on student performance and development.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
Proven experience teaching English in UK secondary schools.
Expertise in delivering curriculum content to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting the role).
