Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a thriving secondary school in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator with experience teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students to make a significant impact on student learning and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
Proven experience teaching English to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
