Job description
Are you an ECT looking to embark on your new career?I am recruiting for a wide variety of teachers in all different subjects to teach in our Secondary schools across Burton Upon Trent, Swadlincote, Woodville, Measham, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Atherstone and Coalville.
We have many roles starting now that are long term and require a teacher 5 days a week. We also have more flexible supply roles where you can work whatever days suit you. This is a great opportunity to become a well-established member of staff in some excellent schools across Derbyshire/Leicestershire and to get your foot in the door at the beginning of your career.
As an agency we work with many schools across Derbyshire and Leicestershire and all members of staff that are placed into these schools always have positive feedback once leaving. A previous teacher from the one of the schools said "It was a great experience. My skills were put to a test but that has pushed me on further to become the best at what I do." Each school prioritises looking after both permanent and temporary staff. The schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the young people in our schools in order to create a welcoming and safe environment for all who attend. They have a clear vision of what they want to achieve and are striving towards this all of the time. It is critical that they either keep or aim at the level of 'ofsted outstanding'
Requirements for the role:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* Be hard working and be willing to 'go the extra mile' with both colleagues and pupils
* Experience within a school setting or working with secondary aged students
* Checkable references from previous employers
* A DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a DBS
* Attend parents evenings and meetings
* A confident understanding of curriculum - can be supported with strong mentor
* Provide progressive reports
* Able to assess, mark and plan lessons if necessary
