Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the English department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
* Develop and implement innovative and engaging English curricula.
* Mentor and support a team of dedicated English teachers, promoting professional development and excellence in teaching practices.
* Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to support and challenge all learners.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to align departmental goals with the school's overall vision and objectives.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

Candidate Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have extensive experience teaching English at the secondary level.
* Proven track record of success in raising student achievement in English.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for educational excellence.
