Job description

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Derby, covering Key Stage 3 and 4 classes in the absence of the class teacher. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.
Requirements:
✅ Experience in UK secondary schools, ideally in an English-related role
✅ Ability to manage a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
✅ Confident covering a range of subjects with pre-planned lessons
✅ Driving preferred, but not essential if happy to use public transport
✅ A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
