We're looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our dynamic agency team, helping to ensure smooth, positive learning environments in schools across the region.
What is a Cover Supervisor?
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students during lessons, ensuring they remain engaged with pre-set work in the absence of their regular teacher. You'll play a crucial role in supporting both students and staff, ensuring the classroom environment remains productive, respectful, and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classroom behaviour in the absence of the class teacher
Deliver pre-set lesson plans, ensuring students remain on track
Provide support for students, helping them with tasks and encouraging learning
Maintain order and a positive, focused classroom environment
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times
What We're Looking For:
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students
A calm, adaptable, and proactive approach to classroom management
Experience in working with children or in a school environment is desirable but not essential
A passion for education and a commitment to student success
