Job Advert: Daily Supply Cover SupervisorAre you passionate about education and experienced in classroom management? Do you thrive in a flexible working environment? We are seeking a Daily Supply Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in the absence of teachers, working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
About the Role:
Position: Daily Supply Cover Supervisor
Location: Various secondary schools
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (ages 11-16)
Flexibility: This is a flexible, on-demand role where you'll be contacted to cover lessons when schools require assistance due to staff absences.
You will be responsible for supervising classes, ensuring students remain on task, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Lesson plans will be provided, and you will ensure these are followed effectively. Strong classroom management skills are essential to support students' learning and uphold school behavior policies.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Prior experience working in an educational setting, ideally as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or similar role.
Classroom Management: Strong ability to manage a classroom, keep students engaged, and maintain discipline.
Flexibility: Available for short-notice assignments and able to adapt quickly to different school environments.
Driving: A full driving licence is preferred due to potential travel between schools and late calls for cover.
