Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across various schools in the Shrewsbury area. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about education and looking to make a positive impact on students learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes and manage student behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Ensure students are focused and complete the work set by the teacher.
* Support students with any questions or difficulties they may have with the tasks.
* Maintain a positive learning environment and ensure the classroom is conducive to effective learning.
* Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff member.
* Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is preferred.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
* A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
