Aspire People is seeking dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Derby City and its outskirts. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students and are looking for the flexibility to choose their working days.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-planned lessons and cover classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
Support students with their learning, ensuring that work is completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
Experience within the education sector, particularly with secondary-aged students (Key Stage 3 and 4).
Strong classroom management skills.
Flexibility and availability for day-to-day cover.
A minimum commitment of 1-2 days per week.
Driving is preferred due to the possibility of late calls to different locations.
