The Opportunity
Are you passionate about working with young people and supporting their learning? We're looking for a proactive Cover Supervisor to join a friendly and supportive secondary school in Evesham. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the classroom, helping students stay on track, and ensuring a positive learning environment while the teacher is away.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play an essential role in maintaining a smooth classroom experience, supervising students, and helping them stay engaged with the work set by the class teacher.
What You'll Be Doing
Supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and focused.
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive, respectful environment.
Supporting students with any questions or issues related to the work set.
Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.
Completing administrative tasks related to cover work as needed.
What We're Looking For
Communication Skills: You should be confident interacting with students and staff.
Classroom Management: You'll need to maintain discipline and keep students focused on their work.
Experience: Previous experience in an education or youth setting is preferred but not essential.
Positive Attitude: A proactive approach and willingness to support students in all areas of their learning.
DBS Check: You will need or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check.
