Compliance Administrator ApprenticeWeekdays 8am - 4:30pm
Aspire People are an education recruitment agency currently looking for a motivated apprentice to join our busy compliance team based in the town centre of Sutton Coldfield.
Being a compliance administrator here, you would be responsible for ensuring that our candidates have been vetted and checked in line with 'Working together to safeguard children' and 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' guidelines. Aspire People have been recognized by the DfE for demonstrating robust recruitment, selection and vetting process and we are looking for someone who will continue to maintain our high standards.
Your daily duties will involve:
*Maintain and update information on all your current 'pending' candidates
*Applying for and chasing employment references daily
*Applying for and chasing 'missing identity documents' from candidates daily
*Processing new DBS certificates and Barred List checks daily
*Checking candidates' qualifications with online checks, references and certification daily
*Self-organisation of work load using a paperless focused approach
*Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
*Adhere to all company policies
*Correspondence via telephone, email, fax and post
*Greeting visitors in our reception area
*Opening and distributing incoming post
*Franking outgoing post
*Scanning and attaching paperwork to candidate files
*Data entry onto our front-end office system
*Other duties as required by the compliance team
You will not need experience as we offer the training on all the relevant aspects of the role. The desirable applicant will have good organisation skills with the ability to multi-task and have a flexible and adaptable approach to work. Most of your work will be on the computer so you need to be computer literate and have excellent attention to detail. You would also need to be a team player and work with the rest of the compliance team.
