Job description
Are you passionate about helping children learn and grow? We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our school team, supporting teachers and students in a variety of classroom activities. This role is ideal for school leavers or students who want hands-on experience in an educational setting.What You'll Do:
Assist teachers with day-to-day classroom tasks
Support students individually or in small groups with their learning
Help prepare materials for lessons and creative projects
Encourage a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all students
Get involved in arts, music, sports, or other extracurricular activities
Courses and Skills That Transfer Well to This Role:
We welcome applicants who have studied or are studying courses such as:
English / Literacy - supporting reading, writing, and communication skills
Mathematics / Numeracy - helping students understand numbers and problem-solving
Creative Arts - drama, visual arts, music, or design
Child Studies / Psychology / Development - understanding how children learn and behave
Health / Physical Education - promoting physical activity and wellbeing
