Job description
Are you an experienced catering assistant looking for temporary roles within schools in the Birmingham area?Aspire People are recruiting a bank of catering assistants to carry out temporary assignments within primary and secondary schools in Birmingham. Applicants must have experience in catering and possess relevant catering qualifications ie. Food & Hygiene certificates. Applicants must be readily available for work and be willing to work on a temporary basis. The temporary positions are to start as soon as possible and range from part time to full time hours.
Duties of a catering assistant include:
*Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
*Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately.
*Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients.
*Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
You will be supported by me, James Kearney. I am Aspire People's Senior Office & Technical consultant and have been supplying non teaching staff to schools in Birmingham for the past 5 years. Whether it is temporary or permanent work that you are looking for, then I will be able to assist you. I offer excellent rates of pay and I will be on hand to offer support throughout assignments.
