The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Business Studies Teacher to join a secondary school in Blackpool for the academic year from January to August 2025. The successful candidate will teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4, inspiring students to explore the world of business, entrepreneurship, and economics. You will be responsible for preparing students for their GCSEs, helping them build key skills for future careers in business and related fields.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 4
Assessing, tracking, and providing feedback on student progress
Creating an engaging and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation
Supporting students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance and develop the Business Studies curriculum
Essential Criteria:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies, Economics, or related fields
Passion for teaching and motivating students in the area of business
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to cater to students of varying abilities and learning styles
