Job description
Are you an experienced School Building Site Supervisor seeking a new opportunity in Birmingham from October 2020?Aspire People are working closely with a school in the Sutton Coldfield region of Birmingham who are currently recruiting a permanent Building Site Supervisor, due to the retirement of their current Site Supervisor. The role will be temp to perm for the successful candidate and the successful applicant will be required to work split shifts to open and close the school. The role will be to start before October half term so applicants must be readily available for work due to the urgency of the role. Applicants must also have a DBS on the update service or be willing to be pay for a new one to be processed.
Applicants must have previous experience working as a school caretaker or site supervisor within a school setting, this is essential.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
« Carry out general maintenance of the school as well as litter picking
« Carry out odd jobs delegated to you by the Site Manager n
« Open and close the school building
« Work independently and as a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
« Set alarms
You will be supported by me, James Kearney. I am Aspire People's Senior Office & Technical consultant and have been supplying non-teaching staff to schools in Birmingham for the past 5 years.
