SEN Tutor (ASDAN‑Trained) - B90 AreaSupporting young people to build confidence, independence, and real‑life skills
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASDAN‑trained SEN Tutor to join our specialist team in the B90 area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people with additional needs develop meaningful skills, achieve personal goals, and aspire to greater independence.
About the Role
The SEN Tutor will work with learners on a 1:1 and small‑group basis, delivering personalised sessions aligned with ASDAN programmes such as Personal Progress, Employability, Life Skills, and Preparing for Adulthood. You will support students with a range of learning needs, including autism, communication differences, and cognitive or social‑emotional challenges.
The role involves creating a calm, structured, and encouraging learning environment where every young person feels valued, understood, and motivated to progress at their own pace.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging ASDAN‑aligned learning sessions tailored to individual needs.
Support learners in developing functional skills, communication, independence, and confidence.
Use a patient, SEN‑aware approach to build trust and positive relationships.
Track progress and contribute to personalised learning plans.
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent support.
Promote a safe, nurturing environment that celebrates every achievement, big or small.

Experience working in an SEN school or specialist setting.
Training or certification in ASDAN programmes.
