Assistant Head Teacher - SEND - ASC, ASD, PMLD - Birmingham - September 2022Are you an innovative Assistant Headteacher committed to improving the lives of children and young people?
I am currently recruiting for an Assistant Head Teacher to work at a SEND School based in Birmingham. They are looking to appoint a dynamic innovative individual with behaviour, ASD, Autism, EBD, SEMH experience to join their team.
I am looking for an experienced Assistant Headteacher to join their fantastic team at a well-established SEND school in Birmingham. As Assistant Headteacher, you will support the Headteacher in school management, delivering our pupils educational needs, maximising children's achievement, and their ability to develop.
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Headteacher who is looking for the chance to bring innovation and creativity to inspire learning in an SEN/ASC environment for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be the custodian of our strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in as many decisions as possible.
In partnership with the Headteacher, you will deliver clear, authentic leadership to their multidisciplinary team, support with ESN, establishing school aims and objectives, ensuring high levels of quality and compliance and working collaboratively to develop appropriate, individualised programmes of learning for their children.

Educated to degree level or equivalent with Qualified Teacher Status, you will be experienced in an SEN/ASC/PMLD environment, enjoy leading a team, and be genuinely motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
The school caters for children with a wide range of needs including ASD,ASC, EBD, ADHD PMLD and SEMH with the pupils aged 4-19 across Primary and Secondary sites.
