* Engage with Parents and External Agencies: Maintain open lines of communication with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students. Provide regular updates on progress and any areas of concern.
* Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development opportunities related to ASDAN delivery and SEND teaching practices to stay up to date with best practices and qualification developments.
* Collaborate with Colleagues: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting the development and implementation of the curriculum across the school. Attend departmental and staff meetings as required.

* Experience with SEND: Proven experience teaching students with a variety of learning needs, including students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other SEND.
* Familiarity with ASDAN: Knowledge of ASDAN qualifications and how to effectively deliver them in the classroom. Experience delivering ASDAN Personal Progress or ASDAN Transition Challenge is desirable, but not essential.
* Understanding of Life Skills Education: A passion for promoting life skills education, personal development, and employability for students with SEND.
* Assessment Skills: Strong understanding of assessment for learning and experience in delivering accredited qualifications, particularly those that emphasize both practical and theoretical learning.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage students and their families effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
* Adaptability and Patience: A patient, flexible, and creative approach to teaching, with a focus on helping students to achieve their personal best and develop essential life skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Experience with ASDAN qualifications: Prior experience teaching ASDAN qualifications or a willingness to undertake relevant training to become an expert in ASDAN delivery.
* Specialist Knowledge: Experience working with specific SEND groups, such as learners with autism, emotional and behavioural difficulties, or moderate learning difficulties.
* Team Player: Strong ability to collaborate with colleagues, teaching assistants, and other school staff to ensure a holistic, student-centred approach to education.
Benefits:
* Competitive salary and benefits package
