Start Date: ASAP
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London) - dependent on experience
We are seeking a creative, passionate, and dedicated Art Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Ilford. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to inspire students and contribute to a thriving Art department.
The Role:
Teach Art across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive, and well-structured lessons
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and exhibitions
Work collaboratively within a supportive and forward-thinking department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it
Have strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Art and creativity
Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
Be enthusiastic, organised, and motivated to support student success
