A Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Year 2 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with special educational needs (SEN). Responsibilities:
* Provide dedicated support to a Year 2 pupil with special educational needs.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and interventions.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for the supported student.
* Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Work closely with parents, external professionals, and the school community to ensure holistic support.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly in a Year 2 setting.
* Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred).
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to participate in relevant training and professional development.
