Are you an experienced 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant looking for a new role?Are you passionate about ensuring all student reach their full learning potential?
Aspire People are working with a lovely primary school in Castle Bromwich. The school is looking for a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant. This role is to work with a child with Autism and suspected global delay within Reception.
The child is quite reserved and will excel with someone who has a calm and patient nature. You will be working alongside an experienced reception teacher with a proactive and friendly approach to teaching.
The role is required to start as soon as possible and is expected to continue for the academic year.
Requirements to be considered for the position, you will:
NVQ Level 3 Qualification
Relevant experience in early years
Experience of work on a 1:1 basis with a child with Autism
Able to encourage child's development and improve their access to the curriculum
At least 6 months working in a primary school
A patient and compassionate attitude
The ideal candidate would have experience and passion to work within a primary school
