What is SEND?
SEND, which stands for special educational needs and disabilities is a term used to describe children who have learning difficulties. This can be behavioural, emotionaland social difficulties, speech, language and communication, hearing impairment, multi-sensory impairment, physicaldisability and autism. Children with SEN are likely to need extra help compared to children their age.
