Job description
Are you an experienced Year 2 Teaching Assistant looking for work in Oldham?I am working with a Primary School in Oldham who are looking for a Teaching Assistant who can work with small groups of children in Year 2 to support them with Maths, English and creative activities. They will need to be able to review each child's progress and prepare them for SATs next year.
This job is ideally for someone who has worked with Year 2 and has SATs experience.
The children are mixed ability and some require extra support due to having low level special needs.
The school are extremely supportive and have a lovely bank of staff who all work as a team to encourage good behavior in school and a peaceful working environment.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to work on a long term basis which could potentially lead to a permanent position in the future.
We are looking for experienced KS1 Teaching Assistants who can encourage, motivate and support children within the classroom whilst also supporting the class Teacher.
The ideal candidate:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification minimum or school experience
* Able to work on a long term basis
* Year 2 SATs experience
* Able to communicate and build rapport with the children you support
