**Job Title:** Qualified Year 1 Teacher (ECTs Welcome)**Location:** Bolton, Greater Manchester - M26
**Start Date:** September 2025
**Salary:** Paid to MPS (Main Pay Scale)

We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated **Year 1 Teacher** to join a well-regarded primary school in **Bolton** from **September 2025**, to cover a maternity leave on a **long-term basis**.
**Job Description:**
We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to join the **Key Stage 1 team**, with a particular focus on **Year 1**. This position is ideal for someone who is confident with early learning frameworks and can create engaging, supportive learning environments. Strong classroom management and a genuine passion for teaching are essential.
**Newly Qualified Teachers (ECTs)** are encouraged to apply.
**Requirements:**
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in **KS1**, ideally in **Year 1**
* Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to plan creative and differentiated lessons
* Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
**Responsibilities:**
* Deliver engaging, curriculum-based lessons tailored to Year 1 pupils
* Create a positive, structured classroom environment
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with other staff on planning, assessment, and school events
* Attend relevant training, staff meetings, and parent communication events
* Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
