1:1 Teaching Assistant - Sutton ColdfieldASAP - Ongoing
4 afternoons per week
A 2 form entry school in Sutton Coldfield are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a wide range of experience working with children with SEND, to work with on a 1:1 basis with a child who has learning difficulties, and requires additional support within the classroom.
This role will be situated in a lovely school with really passionate staff, and a great leadership team.
This role will be 4 afternoons a week.
The ideal candidate:
* Level 3 qualification minimum
* Long term (an academic term or more) experience of working with children on a 1-1 basis
* SEN experience covering Autism and lower level ability
* Able to communicate and build rapport with the children you support
* Confident in communicating with the SENCO, leadership team and parents
* Passionate about working with SEN children & dedicated to helping them thrive and achieve
targets set in line with their individual education plan's (IEP)
* Meticulous when it comes to completing IEP's to ensure everything is covered and the
child's accomplishments are recorded and rewarded
