Are you passionate about supporting young people and making a lasting impact in education?Aspire People is seeking motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools in Hackney. Whether you're an experienced TA, a recent graduate, or considering a future in teaching, this is a fantastic opportunity to build valuable classroom experience.
Role Responsibilities:
* Support students across Key Stages 3-4 (and occasionally KS5)
* Assist classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons
* Provide 1:1 or small group support - particularly for students with SEND or EAL
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a focused learning environment
* Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual pupils
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience supporting secondary-age pupils (school or youth work experience preferred)
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
* A proactive attitude and ability to take initiative
* DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
