Role Overview:
We are seeking motivated and supportive Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools, supporting teachers and pupils across a variety of subjects. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education, whether you're aiming for a long-term career in schools or looking for flexible work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teaching staff in the classroom with lesson delivery.
* Work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to support their learning.
* Assist students who may require additional support, including those with SEN.
* Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
* Support classroom preparation, organisation, and behaviour management.
* Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage progress and achievement.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
* A passion for supporting students' learning and development.
* Confidence to support across a range of subjects at KS3 and KS4.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate secondary school students.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, degree, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
