About the Role:
This is a key support position working under the guidance of a qualified teacher to deliver high-quality learning experiences. You'll be instrumental in helping pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally within a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging learning activities to individuals and small groups, adapting plans to suit a range of needs and abilities
- Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, working closely with teaching staff to inform next steps
- Provide targeted support to help pupils develop confidence and achieve key milestones
- Promote positive behaviour and social development, addressing and reporting concerns when appropriate
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a Teaching Assistant who is:
- Experienced in supporting teaching and learning, ideally within Key Stage 1
- Confident in differentiating tasks and adapting to pupils' individual learning needs
- Skilled in observing and tracking progress, with excellent attention to detail
- Patient, caring, and supportive - with a genuine passion for working with children
- A strong communicator and collaborative team player
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being
