The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant at Waterside Primary, you'll play a key role in:
- Providing in-class support to teachers, helping deliver dynamic and engaging lessons
- Preparing learning materials and classroom resources
- Encouraging a respectful, inclusive learning space that honours the diverse backgrounds of pupils
- Supporting individual learners and small groups with tailored assistance
- Promoting positive behaviour and social skills
- Assisting with essential admin tasks such as marking and progress tracking
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic about education and passionate about supporting children's learning journeys
- Culturally aware and values inclusion and equality
- An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in a busy school environment
- Qualified in education or childcare (desirable, but not required)
