Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and instructional activities.
Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion and engagement in classroom activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance.
Help maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Supervise students during class activities and outings.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of students.
Requirements:
A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility to work full-time or on a day-to-day supply basis.
Availability for morning or afternoon work as needed.
