Job Title: Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher - French & SpanishLocation: Preston
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary (with potential to become long-term or permanent)
Are you a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher with expertise in French and Spanish?
A welcoming secondary school in the Preston area is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teacher of French and Spanish to join their team. The ability to teach German would be an advantage, but is not essential. This is a temporary role with the opportunity to progress into a long-term or permanent position for the right candidate.
About the Role
Teach French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not required)
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire a love of languages
Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with school and curriculum requirements
Foster an inclusive classroom environment with high standards of behaviour and achievement
Contribute to departmental initiatives and wider school life
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
Has proven experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level
(Desirable) Can also teach German
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies
Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to helping all students achieve their potential
