About the Role:
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across various primary schools in Birmingham, covering classes from Reception to Year 6. This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to gain valuable experience in different school settings while providing continuity of education for students in the absence of their regular teachers. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences across the primary curriculum.
Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings.
Build positive relationships with students, staff, and school communities.
Follow lesson plans and deliver engaging activities that meet the learning objectives.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and create a supportive learning environment.
Provide feedback to regular teaching staff and contribute to student progress reports.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
Previous experience teaching in primary schools, with a good understanding of the national curriculum.
Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and school settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to quickly establish rapport with students and create a positive learning environment.
Organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom resources effectively.
