Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a committed and versatile Secondary Supply Teacher to work across a range of schools throughout Gloucestershire. This full-time position is available for an immediate start and offers a rewarding chance to teach within diverse school environments while maintaining work-life balance and professional growth.
The successful candidate will join a supportive network of educators dedicated to providing engaging, high-quality lessons and maintaining positive learning environments for students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the regular class teacher. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage behaviour effectively, and ensure that all pupils are engaged and supported throughout their learning.
This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and confidence across different subjects and age groups. A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring young learners is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-set lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
Manage classroom dynamics and foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of varied student groups.
Provide constructive feedback and maintain clear communication with school staff.
Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed.
Uphold the school's ethos and contribute positively to its learning community.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification recognised in the UK.
Experience teaching within a secondary school environment.
Strong classroom management skills and a calm, confident approach.
Flexibility and the ability to work across multiple schools and subjects.
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Availability for immediate start and commitment to a full-time schedule (Monday to Friday).
