Job description
The School is a specialist setting for children with Autism from the age of 5-19 years. The school stands at the forefront in the education of children with Autism and incorporates best practices and autism-friendly strategies to meet educational needs of students.We currently require a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist.
Duties of the role include:
*You will be working as part of our Therapy team alongside Occupational Therapists to help our students who have autism and learning difficulties and who can present behaviour that challenges.
*Assess their needs, offer therapy and produce reports.
*Be an active part of multi disciplinary meetings and the assessment team for new students.
Requirements:
*Professionally registered and able to maintain registration with HCPC
*Experience of working with young children in SEN settings
