Are you a dedicated, experienced, and qualified Behaviour Support Teacher (Primary) with specialized training in NAPPI and Team Teach? An immediate opportunity awaits you at a main stream school with an SEN unit in Hinckley, Leicestershire, to support and guide primary students with behavioural challenges.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Behaviour Support Teacher (Primary) to join our team immediately. Your role will focus on providing specialist support and interventions for primary students exhibiting challenging behaviours. Your expertise in NAPPI (Non-Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention) and Team Teach training will be integral in managing and improving behavioural outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual students' needs, utilizing NAPPI and Team Teach techniques.
Provide direct support to students, offering targeted interventions and guidance to help manage and improve behaviour.
Collaborate closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to create comprehensive behaviour support plans.
Deliver training to school staff on behaviour management strategies and crisis intervention methods.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of behavioural interventions, adjusting plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress, ensuring a proactive approach to behavioural support.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in behavioural support within a primary school setting.
Certified NAPPI and Team Teach training with a strong understanding of behavioural management techniques.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
Proven ability to implement effective behaviour support plans and interventions.
Immediate availability to start the role.
