Job description
Aspire People are working exclusive with mainstream schools with SEN units, and SEN schools in Loughborough.We are recruiting for Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist for full time and part roles to start in April 2024.
The mainstream schools offer various roles working within SEN units, or in the main school supporting 121 SEN needs depending on the child's requirements and ability. Some schools have split the SEN unit into year groups ie EYFS up to KS2 therefore working with small groups.
The successful Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist will need to have a qualification or have solid experience. We require the experience willing to be working with children with ADHD, Anxiety, Anorexia, Aphasia, Asperger's syndrome, Auditory processing disorder, Autistic spectrum disorder, Behavioural difficulties- EBD, SEBD, nonverbal and SEMH.
The successful Special Education Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants/Behaviour specialist must have good behaviour management skills and techniques, wanting to make a difference and must be reliable and consistent.

Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant
- CACHE Level 3
- BA Education Studies
- NCFE
- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Early Years Educator
- Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Advanced,
- Level 3 Certificate in the Principles of Special Educational Needs (RQF)
- Autism Awareness
- Autism Awareness - Advanced
- Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Diploma
