Are you a qualified Sociology teacher based in Leicester looking for a new opportunity?This position is full time, teaching to KS5, starting 27th October covering a year long maternity leave (or until the postholder returns). The school I am recruiting for are looking for Sociology teacher who would like to join an already successful team. They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing high-quality education to our diverse student body. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to engage and motivate students, develop comprehensive lesson plans, and create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages lifelong learning.

As a Sociology teacher, the school will expect the following:
* Teach Sociology to KS5 level.
* Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
* Have high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team.
* Assess, mark and plan lessons.
* Assess achievements of pupils.
To be considered for this position Aspire People you will need to have the following:
* UK QTS, QTLS or FE teacher equivalent
* Relevant teaching experience across KS4 and KS5
* An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or wiling to apply for one)
* Excellent Communication skills and commitment to working as part of a team.
