Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Eccles (M30) is looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP, supporting pupils with mild Autism (ASC).
📍 Location:
Eccles, Salford (M30)
📅 Start Date:
Immediate / ASAP
🕒 Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, term time only
🧩 The Role:
* Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support for pupils with mild Autism
* Help implement individual learning strategies alongside the class teacher and SENCO
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social interaction
* Foster a calm and supportive classroom environment where children can thrive
* Track and celebrate small steps of progress in each child's learning journey
✅ We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children with Autism or additional needs
* Calm, patient, and nurturing approach to support learning and development
* Ability to work closely with colleagues and follow tailored support plans
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Must have (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the update service

* Experienced Teaching Assistants
* Psychology or Education graduates
* SEN Support Workers or Care Workers transitioning into education
* Youth workers or individuals with experience in childcare or mentoring roles
