A patient, calm, and empathetic approach, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on a child's education and well-being.

Strong communication skills, both with the student and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to achieve the best outcomes for the student.

Previous experience in a 1:1 support role is desirable but not essential.

A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and an ability to implement them in daily practice.

Relevant qualifications in special education, child development, or a related field (e.g. Level 2 or 3 TA qualification, or a relevant SEN qualification).

Ongoing professional development and training opportunities tailored to your role.
