🌟 SEN Teaching Assistant - Behaviour Support | Northampton 🌟Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Immediate Start Available
Salary: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving specialist provision in Northampton. This role involves supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour, both in the classroom and through tailored interventions.
🧠 About the Role:
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN and behavioural needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised support strategies
Help to de-escalate incidents and promote positive behaviour
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to pupils' academic and emotional progress
✅ What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN and/or challenging behaviour (school, youth work, care, or similar settings)
A calm, patient, and consistent approach
Ability to build trust and strong relationships with pupils
Team player with excellent communication skills
A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic school environment
🎓 Desirable (but not essential):
Team Teach, MAPA or similar behaviour training
Experience in SEMH or PRU settings
Relevant qualifications in education or psychology
