About the Role
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties.
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing one-to-one and small group academic and emotional support
* Assisting in the adaptation and delivery of lesson content
* Supporting students' social development and emotional regulation
* Contributing to a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
* Tracking progress and assisting with the implementation of EHCPs
This is a permanent position - not a temporary placement - designed to give you a stable platform to grow your skills and career.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome applications from graduates who:
* Hold a 2:1 degree or above in Psychology, Education, or a related discipline
* Have experience supporting children or young people in educational, care or voluntary settings
* Are passionate about SEN and committed to inclusive education
* Are patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about making a difference
* Are considering careers in educational psychology, SEN teaching, therapy, or youth work
