SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School | Wilmslow, CheshireLocation: Wilmslow, Cheshire
Contract Type: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week

Aspire People are currently working in partnership with a fantastic secondary school in the heart of Wilmslow, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking, inclusive, and highly supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) base, housed within a school boasting state-of-the-art facilities and an ethos that values every learner as an individual.
The Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting those with a range of additional needs including ASC, ADHD, SpLD, HI, VI, and SEMH. You will be providing both in-class support and targeted interventions within the SEN base, working under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting students with SEN, particularly in a UK school or care setting
(You don't need experience working with every SEN need and disability. You just need specific experience in one or more areas)
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a positive impact
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility, patience, and a nurturing approach to support varied needs
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
