Position: Full-time SEN Teacher
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, each with their own unique needs and abilities. Your role will be to deliver tailored lessons that promote individual learning and growth, providing both academic and emotional support to ensure every student thrives in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality, individualized lessons to students with a variety of learning needs, including autism, dyslexia, and other complex conditions.
Develop and implement personalized learning plans (PLPs) that cater to each student's strengths and challenges.
Work closely with SEN support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
Regularly monitor and assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Attend and contribute to meetings, including parent consultations and multidisciplinary reviews.
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience working with students with SEN is essential.
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to teaching.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals.
A passion for inclusion and a commitment to making a positive impact in students' lives.
