On behalf of this school, we are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their welcoming and collaborative team.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to work with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays. The role involves working either one-to-one, in small groups, or within the classroom setting, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to pupils with SEN.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and support staff to ensure coordinated support.
* Monitor and track pupil progress, maintaining accurate records.
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting.
* A strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, compassionate, and creative approach to teaching.
